INDIANAPOLIS – LaVall Jordan is off and running in recruitment of Butler basketball players. That starts with retaining the Bulldogs’ own recruits.
The new Butler coach visited Jerald Gillens-Butler of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Thursday, a source told IndyStar. Another source said Jordan is scheduled to meet with Christian David of Milton, Ontario, on Saturday.
Apparently unresolved is exactly when Jordan will visit the prize recruit, Kyle Young, of the highest-rating incoming class in Butler history. At his introductory news conference Wednesday, Jordan said he has spoken to all the recruits.
