Marquette’s 5-11 sophomore guard is the son of Chuck Howard, a Ben Davis High School graduate who was an Indiana University running back. Moreover, Markus has described himself as “maniacal” in basketball shooting workouts – which qualifies him to be a Hoosier.
“We’ll always be Hoosiers,” said Chuck, a strength and conditioning coach at Grand Canyon, a Phoenix.
