The Butler University women’s lacrosse team lost 22-5 to the University of Connecticut on March 18.The match marked the start of Big East play. Butler’s record falls to 1-8 after the matinee at Varsity Field. The home team scored two goals in the first half, and three in the second half. Redshirt junior midfielder Haley Hallenbeck scored her two goals in the second half.
