INDIANAPOLIS – It is a Yogi Berra kind of basketball season for Butler. It ain’t over till it’s over.

The Bulldogs (16-16) were chosen Sunday night for the 32-team National Invitation Tournament and will play Wednesday at Nebraska (18-16). Tipoff time and TV are to be announced.

The Bulldogs' season could have ended in an 80-57 loss to Providence in the Big East tournament Wednesday. Now, they get another chance.

Coincidentally, Butler athletic director Barry Collier is chair of the NIT selection committee and formerly coached at Nebraska.
