INDIANAPOLIS – While status of the Butler men’s basketball coach remains unresolved, the women’s coach has been fired.
Kurt Godlevske, coming off two of the worst seasons in the history of the women’s program, is out.
Athletic director Barry Collier made the announcement Tuesday. He has not commented on the status of men’s coach LaVall Jordan, who is coming off a 14-19 season and three losing records out of four.
“On behalf of our university and athletics department, I want to thank Kurt for his efforts,” Collier said in news release. “We wish Kurt and his family nothing but the best moving forward.
