INDIANAPOLIS – Point guard Aaron Thompson has played his last college basketball game of this season for Butler. The question is whether he has played the last of his career.
Thompson has been ruled out for the rest of this season because of a shoulder injury, coach LaVall Jordan announced Thursday. Thompson, a 6-2 senior out of Glenn Dale, Md., fell and landed on his shoulder late in a Feb. 17 loss to Marquette, and he has missed the subsequent three games.
The Bulldogs (9-13, 8-11) close the regular Big East season Saturday at No. 12 Creighton (17-7, 13-6).
