The Butler Bulldogs (3-0) had plenty of action last week, but can it prepare them for a visit from the Michigan State Spartans in the Gavitt Tipoff Games?
Butler defeated IUPUI, Central Arkansas and Troy last week, riding uneven performances in two of those outings. Chuck Harris, Jair Bolden and Jayden Taylor are leading Butler in scoring, and Aaron Thompson is scheduled to return from a suspension.
MSU (1-1) lost to Kansas in the season opener before routing Western Michigan. Four Spartans are averaging double figures so far.
