Butler basketball shares views on NCAA transfer rules

Players transferring from one school to another has become an accepted part of college sports. Teams from many sports have benefited in a big way from adding transfers to their team. Both the University of Alabama and the University of Oklahoma started transfers at quarterback in the 2015 College Football Playoff.

College basketball is no exception. Last year, more than 700 Division 1 college basketball players transferred schools, according to ESPN’s “Bill Self: Growing number of transfers ‘big time problem’ for NCAA.
