The Butler women’s basketball team won their first game of the season, taking down Georgetown, 58-40, at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Senior guard Genesis Parker led the Bulldogs with 15 points and two steals, and junior forward Okako Adika added 13 points, eight boards and four assists.

Head coach Kurt Godlevske was impressed with Parker’s performance, and likened her to some of Butler’s best players in his tenure leading this program.
