INDIANAPOLIS – Bryce Golden is transferring from Butler to one of the Bulldogs’ former Horizon League rivals.
Golden, a 6-9 senior from Richmond, Va., posted Sunday on Instagram he would take his additional season of college basketball at Loyola-Chicago.
“Last go around. Let’s do this thing!!!!!” the post said beneath an image of Golden and Chicago’s skyline.

Golden had a close relationship with LaVall Jordan, who was fired April 1 as Butler coach and replaced by Thad Matta.
