Despite Brad Stevens' unfamiliarity Boston's streets, Gordon Hayward chose the Celtics.
Hayward, the former Brownsburg High School and Butler star, talked with ESPN NBA reporter Adrian Wojnarowski this week and broke down free agency, which resulted in him leaving the Utah Jazz for the Celtics on July 4.
After visiting the Miami Heat, he flew to Boston to get the Celtics' pitch.
In Miami, he got VIP treatment, with extra security right after getting off the plane.
He flew commercial to Boston, with Celtics fans recruiting him on the way.
