ROSEMONT, Ill. — Kamar Baldwin scored Butler’s last five points in overtime, including two free throws with 3.7 seconds on the clock, and the 14th-ranked Bulldogs completed a 20-point comeback by beating DePaul 70-69 Saturday.
More of the 6,713 fans in Allstate Arena cheered for Butler than DePaul. The Bulldogs’ shaky road play persisted, but they pulled it out in the end.
Kethan Savage scored 20 points, his most as a Butler player. Baldwin added 18 for the Bulldogs, who are 17-3 overall and 6-2 in the Big East.
Kelan Martin added 12 on 3-of-13 shooting.
