LaVall Jordan played for the Bulldogs, and was an assistant coach at Butler, Iowa and Michigan. He was the coach at Milwaukee for one season.
INDIANAPOLIS – LaVall Jordan’s wife, Destinee, darted into his Hinkle Fieldhouse office en route to her next errand. With three daughters involved in gymnastics, soccer and other activities, life is nonstop.
“You think this is tough?” he said. "I look at that calendar sometimes ... I don’t know.”
Jordan had his own challenging timetable. Thursday marks the anniversary of his introduction as Butler’s 24th head basketball coach.
