Teenage goalkeeper George McMahon has joined Ashton United on loan for the rest of the season.
McMahon, who signed for the Clarets after leaving Rotherham United last summer, moves to the National League North side for the chance of first-team experience.
The 18-year-old could make his Ashton debut against FC United of Manchester on Saturday in a big local derby, with the two sides currently in the bottom three.
