A handful of young Clarets are heading out on work experience loan moves to gain a taste of senior football.
Striker Will Harris (above) is joining Bet Victor North-West side Colne, while still being available for the Clarets’ U23 side for Professional Development League fixtures.
And midfielder Rhys Fenlon is also staying the county, with the second-year scholar going to North-West Counties Premier Division side Padiham for a month.
Also going to the North-West Counties League are second-years Harry Allen, Udoka Chima and Jaydon Major.
The trio are joining First Division side Steeton AFC, with centre-back Chima and striker Major both going for an initial month.
