Chris Wood’s belief paid off as he finished off Norwich City in double-quick time.
Wood scored for the first time since his two goals against Cardiff City in April all but secured the Clarets’ Premier League safety and last season.
This time around they are in rude health with a 2-0 Turf Moor win over Norwich making it eight points from the opening six games.
And Wood is also back in business after he struck both goals inside the opening quarter-of-an-hour to put the visitors to the sword.
“It was nice to get on the score sheet and even better to get the three points,” said the Clarets’ frontman, who has now scored in his last four games against the Canaries.
