West Ham consider moving for Chelsea full back Ian Maatsen as Aaron Cresswell nears a £2.5m switch to Premier League rivals Wolves

Chelsea left-back Ian Maatsen is among those being considered by West Ham to replace Aaron Cresswell who is in talks to join Wolves for just over £2.5m.

The Dutch full back returned to Chelsea after enjoying a superb season on loan at Burnley.

Maatsen played 42 times for the Clarets in all competitions, with the left back contributing four goals and six assists.

The 21-year-old was one of four Burnley players included in the Championship team of the season, after Vincent Kompany's side claimed the title to seal an immediate return to the Premier League.
