Chris Wood can’t stop scoring and hopes there is more to come when the Clarets really get down to business.
Wood bagged a hat-trick as Burnley brushed aside Nice 6-1 in their pre-season friendly at Turf Moor.
That followed a training-ground treble against Accrington Stanley earlier in a warm-up campaign that has seen the New Zealand international hit the target nine times.
“Hopefully there’ll be a couple in the season,” said Wood, who has twice hit doubles in the Premier League in his two years as a Claret.
