Former Clarets defender Stephen Ward has linked up with former Turf Moor team-mate Sam Vokes at Stoke City.
The 33-year-old, who left the club this summer following five years’ sterling service, has signed a one year deal with the Potters.
Ward – who was capped 50 times by the Republic of Ireland – made a total of 113 appearances for the Clarets.
