Vincent Kompany has been told by his peers the remarkably condensed Championship table won't last.
Kompany's third-place Burnley visit Sunderland tomorrow with the top half of the table separated by only six points.
The Clarets have drawn eight of their 15 games so far but Kompany is assured the cream will eventually rise to the top.


'I can only repeat what I hear from other managers. They all tell me come January there is a split that starts to happen,' said Kompany.
'In most of the draws, we have been either the better side or the team likeliest to win.
