Vincent Kompany has made his first signing as Burnley manager, bringing MK Dons playmaker Scott Twine to Turf Moor.

The 22-year-old enjoyed an outstanding season for the Dons in League One, scoring a remarkable 20 goals and providing 13 assists.

Twine was named the 2021/22 EFL League One Player of the Season. He moves to Burnley on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee reported to be around £4million.
