Youth team forward Mitch George is looking forward to getting his first opportunity to impress in the CEE Cup, as Tony Philliskirk’s side take on Altinordu in their second group B clash.
The U18s face the Turkish side today (Friday) at the Evzena Rosickeho Stadium and will be looking to bounce back after Wednesday’s defeat at the hands of Brazilian side Palmeiras.
George watched on from the bench in midweek, but the pacy striker is looking to get off the mark and get the ball rolling for the Clarets in the tournament this evening.
The attacker, who is into his fifth season with Burnley, said: “I’m really looking forward to it.
