Burnley midfielder David Jones is the subject of a bid from Sheffield Wednesday.
Wednesday boss Carlos Carvalhal is keen to lure Jones way from Turf Moor as the Owls attempt to make a serious promotion push this season having narrowly missed out in the play-offs in May.
The former England Under 21 International signed a contract extension with the Clarets last summer but had a buyout clause included in his contract, which Wednesday have met.

The 31-year old has got four Premier League promotions to his name after going up with Derby, Wolves and with his current club Burnley twice.
