Having a big group of full internationals in the squad is still a relative novelty for Burnley, but at this early stage of the season, it might have been preferable for certain players to have been at home. Sean Dyche smashed the club's transfer record for the second time by making Jeff Hendrick the first ever eight-figure signing in the club's history, but Hendrick will have only met his new teammates a few days before the visit of Hull City.
Hendrick has been on international duty with Republic of Ireland, where he will have had the chance to get to know Clarets left-back Stephen Ward, but his travels could mean he has to settle for a place on the bench on Saturday.
