Rio Ferdinand has certainly delivered varied assessments on what has been nothing short of an up and down 12 months for Harry Maguire.

The former Manchester United centre-back claimed the current England star should have been left out of the 26-man Euro 2020 squad due to fitness fears, but described him as a 'man mountain' after the quarter-final victory against Ukraine.

On Tuesday night, the 43-year-old was back on the attack again after United's 1-1 draw at Burnley, in which Wout Weghorst skillfully turned Maguire before playing in Jay Rodriguez who held off the United skipper to slip home an equaliser.
