Steve Stone’s side take on Charlton Athletic this afternoon (Tuesday) at the Valley, in their final fixture of the U23 Professional Development League.
The Clarets will be looking to finish their season on a high, following up last week’s 3-0 win over Colchester United.
A win for Stone’s men would see them rise to second above Birmingham City, who lost 2-1 at Bristol City last night.
Which would mean that the Blues would have to lose their final game on Friday, for the Clarets to take second spot and secure a play-off spot.
Charlton currently sit sixth in the southern division and haven’t lost in their three previous matches.
