Burnley Football Club remains committed to engaging and working with the Premier League to find a conclusion to the 2019/20 Premier League season.
Chairman Mike Garlick and CEO Neil Hart took part in a shareholders meeting on Friday, May 1, and the following statement has now been issued by the Premier League.

At a meeting of Premier League Shareholders today, clubs discussed possible steps towards planning to resume the 2019/20 season, when it is safe and appropriate to do so.
It was reiterated that the thoughts of all are with those directly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
