Prague CEE Cup For Youths

The Clarets’ youth team will take on some top-class opposition when they compete in the annual CEE Cup at the end of July, which takes place in the capital of Czech Republic, Prague.

Burnley debuted in the tournament back in the summer of 2017, where the Clarets came up against Premier League rivals Everton in an all-English final.

Tony Philliskirk’s side travel to the historic city of Prague on the 23rd July, after coming up against AFC Bournemouth, Liverpool and Everton in pre-season friendlies to warm up ahead of the tournament.

The CEE Cup consists of eight teams, alongside Burnley will be, Czech sides Sparta and Slavia Prague, Brazilian opposition Palmeiras, Croatian outfit Dinamo Zagreb and Turkish side Besiktas will be in attendance, with two final teams to be confirmed.
