Nick Pope wants to maintain a mean streak at Turf Moor after Norwich City were the latest to leave empty-handed.
The Clarets followed up their opening-day 3-0 win over Southampton with another comprehensive victory over the Canaries.
And Pope hopes that becomes a blueprint for the season after Norwich had no answer to the Clarets’ high-pressure game which produced both goals in a comfortable 2-0 victory.
“Everyone would say home form is massive in the Premier League,” said the Clarets’ keeper.
“We’ve had a good start. That’s two out of three now and we’ll look to build on that and really make this place a place people don’t want to come.
