Nick Pope has signed a new long-term contract at Turf Moor to commit his future to the Clarets.
The goalkeeper – part of England’s 2018 World Cup squad – is fully recovered from the shoulder injury that put his Burnley career on hold last season following a spectacular introduction to the Premier League.
And the 27-year-old has now signed a deal that will keep him with the Clarets until June, 2023 with the option of a further 12 months.
“I am in a good place. The shoulder feels good and I’m looking forward to coming back ready for next season,” said Pope.
