Tom Heaton hailed a ‘magical night’ as the Clarets came within a whisker of a first win at Old Trafford for 57 years.
Heaton felt the pain of conceding two late goals as United hit back in the dying stages to snatch a 2-2 draw and extend their unbeaten home record against Burnley to 20 matches.
But the Clarets’ captain also took great pride and encouragement from a collective effort on and off the pitch which extended Burnley’s unbeaten Premier League run to five games and stopped his former United team-mate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer from rattling up a ninth straight win as interim boss.
