Nottingham Forest make £30m move for Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana and show interest in Chelsea trio Callum Hudson-Odoi, Trevoh Chalobah and Ian Maatsen

Nottingham Forest have made £30million offer for Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana.

Since joining Monaco in 2018, the 24-year-old has made 140 appearances for the Ligue 1 club.

He has been virtually ever-present in each of the last three seasons, and previously won the Coupe de la Ligue with Strasbourg before being a World Cup runner-up with France in 2022.

Forest also have an interest in a number of Chelsea players such as Fulham target Callum Hudson-Odoi, Trevoh Chalobah, who has a hamstring injury, and Ian Maatsen, who is wanted by West Ham and Burnley also but expected to be offered a new Chelsea contract.
