Jack Cork is confident the Clarets can bounce back after his own return to frontline duty.
Cork resumed his pivotal partnership with Ashley Westwood against former club Chelsea following two matches out with a fractured shoulder blade.
And while the midfield man couldn’t prevent a 4-2 loss to the in-form Blues, Cork believes the Clarets’ two late goals can propel them positively into a November fixture list which sees them play Sheffield United, West Ham, Watford and Crystal Palace wrapped around another international break.
“If we hadn’t scored the two goals at the end, we would have been a little bit disappointed, but we still had a go,” said Cork.
