Burnley FC Women have gained an important new backer, with the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) becoming the club’s first official shirt sleeve sponsor.
The sponsorship agreement will see the University's logo printed on all Burnley FC Women junior and senior teams for the 2019/20 season.
The newly-promoted Burnley FC Women's first team kick off their campaign in the third tier of women's football - the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division - at home to Derby County LFC on Sunday.
