Tony Philliskirk’s side take on Bolton Wanderers this weekend at the Barnfield Training Centre , as the youngsters return to league action for the first time since in three weeks.
Last time out, the Clarets ran away 3-0 winners at Wigan Athletic, but a home game a week later against Barnsley was postponed due to the weather, before a free weekend last week saw Philliskirk’s side go two weekends without an U18 Professional Development match.
First-year scholar Dylan Moonan believes the squad are eager to get back to their weekend football after the mini-break but insists the hard-work hasn’t’ stopped away from the pitch.
