Manchester City 5-0 Burnley: Phil Foden bags a brace as he stars in demolition... and now Liverpool will not be able to win the title against Crystal Palace

Manchester City beat Burnley on Monday night in a comfortable 5-0 win at the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola's side went into a three-goal first-half lead courtesy of Phil Foden's strike and Riyad Mahrez's double. The first followed an excellent run, the second came from the penalty spot.

David Silva then added a fourth just after the break before Foden hit his second to wrap up the win.
