Liverpool 'expect Neco Williams to push for Anfield exit

Neco Williams is expected to leave Liverpool after Euro 2020 due a lack of first-team opportunities at the Merseyside club.

The 20-year-old, who is currently away with Wales on international duty, has spent the past two seasons playing second fiddle to Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Therefore, the academy graduate could move to Leeds, Southampton, Aston Villa or Burnley this summer. However, Liverpool will demand least £10 million for the Wales full-back.

According to The Athletic, Anfield officials understand the defenders’s desire to play regular first-team football and will subsequently sell their rising star for the right price.
