Leicester 1-2 Everton: Mason Holgate turns home a vital winner at the King Power to pull Frank Lampard's side out of the Premier League drop zone above relegation rivals Burnley and Leeds

Everton picked up a crucial 2-1 win away at Leicester on Sunday afternoon to lift themselves out of the dreaded Premier League relegation zone.

Vitaliy Mykolenko blasted Frank Lampard's men in front at the King Power with a superb strike after six minutes, only for Patson Daka to draw the Foxes level five minutes later.

But on the half-hour mark Mason Holgate bundled home what proved the winner for Everton, lifting them out of the drop zone above relegation rivals Burnley and Leeds.
