Wednesday night sees a Lancashire Derby in the FA Women’s National League Premier Division, as Burnley FC Women take on Fylde Women FC at Padiham FC’s Ruby Civil Arena.
The Clarets have enjoyed a strong start to the season.
The squad staged an opening day comeback from a two goal first half deficit to beat league contenders Derby County Ladies on the first day of the season.
This was followed by a 3-0 win over Leeds United Women to progress into the Preliminary Round of the FA Women’s National League Cup, and further success at the weekend saw them pick up a second consecutive league win, away at Midlands side West Bromwich Albion Women.
