Johann Berg Gudmundsson is back in business and ready to add to the Clarets’ armoury.
Gudmundsson is set to return to the Burnley squad for Saturday’s trip to Aston Villa after missing the last three Premier League games following a calf injury.
And having four fit and firing widemen available – along with the versatile Jeff Hendrick – is a welcome asset for boss Sean Dyche, who expects Dwight McNeil to shake off a minor knock to make the trip to the Midlands.
“Dwight had a dead leg but I’m hoping and expecting he will be okay, so it’s pretty good at the minute,” said Dyche.
