James Tarkowski set to start at centre back for Burnley this upcoming season as Sean Dyche points to his faith in the development of Michael Keane

Burnley are set to gamble on the inexperienced James Tarkowski after opting not to land a replacement for Michael Keane.

Everton signed Keane for £25million last month but Sean Dyche has not yet been able to reinvest that money.

Tarkowski has only four Premier League starts to his name, while Sportsmail understands the Clarets are not currently in negotiations over a partner for Ben Mee.
