Sean Dyche is happy to have the Clarets’ destiny in their own hands as they head back into Premier League battle.
Burnley face FA Cup semi-finalists Wolves at Turf Moor on Saturday in Dyche’s 300th game in charge.
And despite a four-match losing run which has left Dyche’s side just two points above the drop-zone, the Burnley boss would have taken this position at the turn of the year.
“It gets to a point, which is now, where it’s still right in our grasp, where it wasn’t at Christmas,” said Dyche.
“I think we’ve come a long way since that build-up to Christmas.
