A community hero dubbed 'Britain's kindest plumber' for his incredible acts of kindness - which this week won over Hollywood star Hugh Grant - was once bullied to the brink of suicide for 'having no teeth'.

Selfless James Anderson has touched the hearts of the nation with his generosity, which has seen him offering free plumbing for frail pensioners with cancer and donating £13,000 to help a seven-year-old disabled boy get a bionic arm.
