Former Burnley player Kieran Trippier urges Dwight McNeil to stay put at Turf Moor despite links to Manchester United and Arsenal

Dwight McNeil has been warned against leaving Burnley despite high-profile interest shown by Arsenal and Manchester United.

The highly rated 20-year-old midfielder has seen his stock rise after after some impressive performances this season.

His interest has gained attention from Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle, though former Burnley man Kieran Trippier says he should not rush into any decision.

He told the Burnley Express: 'I'd say "don't rush anything, just keep playing" and Dwight is at the right club to do that. He just needs to keep playing games, because that's the most important thing for somebody his age.
