Ex-Burnley boss Sean Dyche is favourite to be Everton's next manager after the club sacked Frank Lampard... but Wayne Rooney and David Moyes are also in the running and could make spectacular returns to Goodison Park

Former Burnley boss Sean Dyche is the bookies' favourite to take over at Everton following the sacking of Frank Lampard.

Despite helping the Toffees miraculously avoid relegation last campaign, Lampard was relieved of his duties on Monday following an dire 2-0 defeat at West Ham.

Dyche is the leading candidate - at 6/4 - according to various bookmakers, followed by ex-Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa and incumbent West Ham boss, David Moyes.
