Sean Dyche has been impressed with Frank Lampard’s start to managerial life at Chelsea – but won’t be rolling out the welcome mat for the former England international this weekend.
Lampard has hit the ground running since the former playing great returned to Stamford Bridge as manager in the summer after cutting his managerial teeth at Derby County last season.
The 41-year-old – Chelsea’s record goalscorer – has seemingly restored optimism around the London club on the back of an impressive start to the season.
That has seen the Blues climb into the top four of the Premier League and top their Champions League group.
