An equalizer deep into stoppage time is always a body blow, but it is hard to argue that Burnley deserved any more than a point from Saturday's 1-1 draw against Hull City. Steven Defour's long-range wonder-goal had the Clarets on track for back-to-back home wins, but a piece of free kick brilliance from the in-form Robert Snodgrass meant the spoils were shared -- a fair result overall.
Positives
Defour continued to look a class above the rest of his teammates and if it wasn't for Snodgrass' late intervention, he would have scored the winner. Burnley defended reasonably well on the whole and were within seconds of keeping another clean sheet at home, and it was desperately unfortunate that it was the otherwise excellent Ben Mee who gave the foul away for Snodgrass to profit.
