Jack Cork believes the towering figure of Peter Crouch can be the ideal fit at Burnley.
Crouch’s arrival at Turf Moor on transfer deadline day coincided with the departure of the long-serving Sam Vokes.
And while Vokes’ exit from the squad has been felt, Cork has welcomed the signing of a player who has been making his mark in the Premier League for over 16 years and with the experience of six top-flight clubs behind him.
“It was sad to see someone like Sam Vokes leave, someone who’s done so much for the club and was a great player,” said the Clarets’ midfield man.
