Top scorer Michael Fowler added two more goals to his collection as the Clarets extended their unbeaten run with a comfortable victory at Crewe.
Fowler struck in each half as Tony Philliskirk’s made it four league games without defeat in the U18 Professional Development League to keep their title hopes alive.
Dylon Meredith continued his resurgence with another goal as Burnley led 2-0 at the break.
And they wrapped up the points with two more goals in the second half from the in-form Fowler – who bagged a brace for the third game running since the Christmas break – and defender Dan Moss.
