Saturday marked the Club’s seasonal celebration of its official charity, Burnley FC in the Community.
A chance to place the spotlight on the expansive work of Burnley FC in the Community, the day is also a fundraising initiative to support the charity’s work in the local community.
30 bucket collectors, the majority of whom were Burnley FC in the Community staff members, were present around the stadium and in the concourses and collected many donations from generous fans.
In the lead up to the day, two special Community Day videos highlighting the work of the charity were released online, there was also a themed matchday programme and the players warmed up prior to kick off in Burnley FC in the Community t-shirts.
